On November 5 to 12, 2015, President Jin Bingxiong in TCZJ led a party, including Huang Hui, director of the Foreign Languages Department and Zhang Fengzhen, head of the Applied Russian Teaching and Research Section, paid exchange visits to Russia and Poland, and visited our students majoring in Applied Russian in Russian State University of Tourism and Service and Ural Institute of International Tourism.
In Russia, Jin Bingxiong and his party were warmly welcomed by Russian State University of Tourism and Service, Ural Institute of International Tourism, and Saint-Petersburg State University of National Economy. They had in-depth discussions with heads of the above universities respectively concerning the issues of strengthening intercollegiate cooperation, exchange of students and teachers’ visits on both sides. The visit has borne fruitful results, includingStudents’ Exchange Affiliate Agreementwith Russian State University of Tourism and Service, andA Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperationwith Saint-Petersburg State University of National Economy.
The party also visited our 17 students majoring in Applied Russian in Russian State University of Tourism and Service and Ural Institute of International Tourism, and had a knowledge of their learning and living conditions in Russia. Jin Bingxiong encouraged our students to further strengthen their language learning and in-depth understanding of Russian local history and culture, and to constantly improve their friendship and communication with teachers and students in their present colleges and universities.
Besides, the party also visited Pedagogical University of Cracow inPoland. Leaders of both sides had a discussion on such issues as major cooperation, communication between teachers and students, and students’ studying inChina. Both reached a preliminary cooperation intention, and signedA Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation.
The visit of this delegation not only consolidates the friendship with the past partner institutes, but also adds a new exchanging and cooperative partner, which builds a new platform for the development of foreign cooperation and exchanges for our college.
