On November 20th, a delegation of four from Chungbuk National University (CBMI), led by Yin Rushao, President of CBNU, visited TCZJ. Jin Bingxiong, President of TCZJ, and a number of faculties from International Education Department and Foreign Languages Department received this delegation.
In the meeting participated by the two sides, Mr. Jin warmly welcomed the guests and offered an introduction about the setup of majors and internationalized school running in TCZJ. The two sides had a discussion on short-term exchange and training programs. President Yin expressed hope that more innovation can be made in the future cooperation and more communication platforms be created for faculties and students on two sides. Then a Cooperation Letter of Intent was signed. Afterwards, the delegation visited the training centers of Foreign Languages Department, Apartment for international students and Costa Cruise Training Center and spoke highly of the first-class teaching environment and the high professional quality of TCZJ students.
Established in 1951, CBNU is one of ten Flagship Korean National Universities, with great achievement in education and research areas. By 2014, The university is made up of 15 colleges, 83 departments, and 9 graduate schools. In 1999, CBNU was selected as the leading school for the program, Brain Korea 21 (BK21) and was greatly supported by the Korean Ministry of Education. In 2003, it was honored as an outstanding regional university supported by the Ministry of Education.
