2015 “Chinese Civilization•Generation to Generation” Delegation of College Teachers and Students from Taiwan Visited TCZJ

On December 17th, a delegation group of 57 college teachers and students of tourism major from Taiwan visited TCZJ. This is part of the “Chinese Civilization, Generation to Generation” program hosted by China National Tourism Administration and held by Tourism Bureau of Zhejiang Province. Visiting colleges include Far East University and Kao Yuan University, etc. Vice-president of TCZJ,Wang Zhonglin, attended relevant activities and responsible persons from International Education Division were responsible for receiving and escorting.

At the meeting, Wang Zhonglin extended a warm welcome to this visit of the delegation and made a detailed introduction of TCZJ’s development history and future growth prospects. He also reviewed the exchange history between TCZJ and colleges in Taiwan, expecting delegates to put forward valuable opinions and suggestions.

Head of delegation, vice-president of Far East University Zhong Mingji made a basic introduction about this exchange trip for young college teachers and students to visit Zhejiang. Meanwhile, he also exchanged and shared teaching experience, results and characteristics of colleges in Taiwan with TCZJ.

During the event, deputy director of tour guide teaching and research office, Li Deyu, gave a culture lecture “Hangzhou, Living Poetry) to the delegation, offering a lively presentation about culture, history and tourism industry development of Hangzhou.

In addition, the delegation visited Costa training center, Zhejiang Tourism Museum, and training center of the Cuisine Department. They had experienced a series of Chinese style pastry making activities together with students from Tour Guide Department, Hospitality Department, Foreign Language Department and Cuisine Department.
