On March 24th, a delegation from the Pontifical University of Salamanca (in Spanish: Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca / UPSA), which was composed of Isabel del Arco, director of Spanish Department, Antonia Macarro, director of the Department of Modern Languages, Mercedes Medina, officer in charge of Chinese student affairs, Pedro Medina, general representative of UPSA in China, and Liang Chen, director of Dalian office of UPSA. Yan Yiping, TCZJ dean of International Education Department, and Huang Hui, TCZJ dean of Foreign Languages Department, welcomed the delegation and held a talk with the guests. The talk focused on the exchange of teachers and students between two sides and the development of the major of Applied Spanish, and then an agreement of establishing cooperative relationship between two sides was reached.
Established in 1940, UPSA is a private, catholic university, located in Salamanca, Spain, and campus in Salamanca and Madrid. Renowned for its favorable geographical location, ancient buildings, small-size class teaching, faculty with rich teaching experience and perfect environment for learning Spanish, UPSA attracts a large number of international students to study there every year.
Afterwards, the delegation visited the Costa training center and the international students dormitory, speaking highly of the first-class training facilities and picturesque campus of TCZJ.
